Safety belt is one kind personal protective equipment that can prevent workers falling accidents in high places work. It is formed with tape , rope and metal parts.It is widely used for hanging , climbing and other high places work, does not apply to fire and hanging objects .
Safety belt is divided into 3 kinds according to its usage:seat belt,hanging belt and climbing belt. Accordingly to its structure,there are single belt , double strap style , climbing type. Precautions before using :
1. Before using do make a visual inspection, if you find damaged parts breakage. ***erioration etc.,should immediately stop using.
2. Regular inspection:every six months do static load test, to 2206N tensile pull five minutes without breaking can continue to use; Suspension seat belt i***ct test, 80kg weight for free fall experiment ,if not breaking , the batch can continue to use; for tested safety belt,safety rope must be replaced before further use.
3. Storage :safety belt should be stored in dry and ventilated warehouse , are not allowed contact with heat , acid and fire hard sharp objects and chemicals , was not allowed long-term exposure.
